Composition: Metronidazole 500 mg/ 100 ml, an antibiotic belonging to the nitroimidazole class.
Indications: 1. The prophylaxis of postoperative infections due to sensitive anaerobic bacteria particularly species of bacteroides and anaerobic. 2. The treatment of severe intraabdominal and gynecological infections caused by anaerobic bacteria.
